Documenting GW Flooding Across the Northeast US

By Dr. David Boutt on November 18, 2022
As climate change is impacting the global hydrological cycle, the Northeast US is experiencing conditions of overall increased annual precipitation amounts (Boutt, 2017). These changes in precipitation along with land-cover modifications have led to water table rise across the region. Boutt (2017 )documents these changes in detail and our current study is looking to make predictions and assessments of these rises on shallow groundwater flooding.
