Hi there! I grew up spending my summers in Wareham, swimming in White Island Pond everyday, drinking water from a small well in our basement, running through the pine forests, and generally living life free as a bird. It wasn't until I went to graduate school for environmental geology that I realized the uniquely delicate ecosystem, untouched for thousands of years, that provided three generations of my family with clean water to drink, swim, and fish. Now I'm back southeastern Massachusetts working to preserve the clean water of the Plymouth-Carver sole source aquifer, and the globally rare pine barrens forest that protects it, for future generations of children to live in and enjoy just like I did.
